Our Vision and Values

"Empowering every child with compassion, collaboration, and courage to reach their full potential."

At Horizon Primary Academy, our core values of compassion, collaboration, and courage are the foundation of everything we do. We believe that every child deserves a first-class education, and we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Compassion and kindness are at the heart of our school community, fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere where everyone feels valued. Through collaboration, we create a space where pupils, staff, and families work together, sharing ideas and resources to help each child succeed. Courage is key in pushing beyond challenges, allowing us to aim high and set ambitious goals. With high expectations for both academic achievement and personal growth, we strive to empower every child to become confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals, ready to take on the world.

We work together!

Collaboration

Paddington’s optimistic attitude and willingness to work alongside others, no matter the challenge, show that he values collaboration as much as any adventure. His gentle, team-oriented spirit reminds everyone that great things happen when we all pull together.

We care about each other!

Compassion

Mole is a deeply compassionate character, always showing kindness and care for his friends. Despite his humble beginnings, he has a heart full of empathy, always ready to offer help to those in need. His willingness to put others before himself, even in unfamiliar or difficult situations, shows just how much he values the well-being of his friends.

We are brave!

Courage

Peter Rabbit is a small but courageous creature, always ready to face challenges head-on despite his size. With a heart full of determination, he bravely ventures into Mr. McGregor's garden. His courage wasn’t born from fearlessness, but from his ability to push forward even when the odds seemed stacked against him, making him a true hero in his own right.
