Reception will study the book 'Augustus and His Smile' in term 4, which explores inner happiness and identity. Their writing for term will be based on this core text.
Another fundamental priority is the PSHE curriculum, with a core focus of restoring postive mental health and wellbeing. A driver for this will be the book 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse', which explores a range of positive thoughts and messages about identity, mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
