Our School Council

Our school council representatives visited the local foodbank today to learn more about where our fabulous Harvest donations are going. 

They learnt lots, asked great questions and have come back with two big ideas:

1. Ask their class to donate the items that the foodbank is short on

2. Set up Horizon Primary Academy as a foodbank collection point all year round

                  

 

Council Chambers Visit

Members of Y5 represented the school today by visiting the council chambers. They discussed how Swanley can be improved and asked a number of excellent questions to Swanley Council members, the Kent Community Warden the Deputy Mayor.
