Horizon Hang Out- is every Thursday Morning 9-10:30 am either in our community room or school hall. The hang out is a place where parents/carers are invited in to meet with other parents, have a cup of tea, biscuit and chat! Debbie our wellbeing coordinator and Mrs Emma Wright (senior leadership team/teacher)  will also be around for a chat if needed!

The aim of the 'hang out' is a place where parents can meet after a busy school run! its a drop in incentive so no regular commitment!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Horizon Hangout Testimonial!

The Hangout has been open every Thursday this term and as well as general chit chat, some discussions have been centred upon the ‘5 love languages of children and adults’. Helen Earnshaw (one of our governors) has led these discussions which have offered lots of different ideas with regards to understanding children and adults better.

These are some of the comments that some of the parents (who regularly attend) have made:

‘The Hangout has been an enjoyable place to meet to discuss interesting topics that are not always related to school. Some of the topics discussed about school have made me feel very involved.’

‘The Hangout feels like it’s a network of support and feedback.’

‘It has been a great, relaxing place to meet other parents and get to know parents in other year groups.’

‘I like the way the conversations just flow into different topics.’

‘I have always felt welcome and topics that we have talked about always arisen spontaneously.’
