Terms 4 and 5 will focus on the basic skills of reading, writing in maths, ensuring that the children rebuild the foundations of learning in these subjects.
Year 3 will study the book 'Between Tick and Tock' in term 4. A story focused on time stopping to find happiness in the world by being kind and engaging with nature.
Another fundamental priority is the PSHE curriculum, with a core focus of restoring postive mental health and wellbeing. A driver for this will be the book 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse', which explores a range of positive thoughts and messages about identity, mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
Our geography theme is focused on sustainabilty and, in particular, plastic pollution in our oceans. Click here to view the plastic pollution knowledge organiser, which explains everything the children will know by the end of the theme.
